Some users of the Safari web browser with Macintosh OS X have reported problems accessing the Marywood Website. The problem is related to Safari's abililty to handle web pages that have been designed in any of 32 different languages. Safari "pings" our server for all of the languages and our firewall rejects this as a possible attack.
The fix is to disable the languages that you are not using. Go to System Preferences - click the International Button and click EDIT in the Language Tab. You will need to uncheck all languages except English and any others that you expect to use. This should fix the problem.
A similar problem has been reportend with users of Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 -- it also pings our server multiple times and is rejected as a possible attack. Our technicians are working to solve this problem. In the meantime, we suggest switching to Mozilla Firefox as a temporary fix.
