School of Social Work Social Justice Incentive Scholarship 2007-2008 Graduate Scholarship Application Master's Degree Students All materials must be submitted by April 15, 2007 Dear School of Social Work Scholarship Applicant, The Social Justice Incentive Scholarships are available only to master's degree students in their advanced practice year in the Marywood University School of Social Work. Complete the scholarship application electronically. Complete the scholarship essay. Please type an essay (500-1000 words) describing your interest in social justice practice and preparation for effective practicum-based learning in a setting emphasizing social justice. Email the essay in Microsoft Word to gradscholarship@marywoodu.net. Your essay should contain your name, social security number, and field of study at the top of the page. Below this information please indicate that the essay supports your Social Justice Incentive Scholarship Application. Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The 2007-2008 FAFSA must document financial need for these scholarships. The FAFSA may be completed by filing an electronic 2007-2008 FAFSA on the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov. A 2007-2008 FAFSA must be completed by April 15, 2007 to support this application. Neither scholarship nor assistantship awards are renewed automatically each year. It is the responsibility of the student to reapply each academic year.
