Marywood University On-site Dietetic Internship
Program Scholarships
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Marywood
University is pleased to be able to provide $6000 merit
scholarships to on-site dietetic interns who have maintained
a 3.35 cumulative undergraduate grade point average and have
completed a didactic program approved or accredited by the
ADA Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education. This
merit scholarship is available for your dietetic internship
(DI). We encourage you to apply for scholarships and
assistantships in subsequent academic years at Marywood
University to help fund additional coursework leading to a
master's degree beyond the DI.
Approximately ten students are selected for the on-site
DI at Marywood University each year. Admission to the
program is competitive and is a prerequisite to scholarship
consideration. All students are selected for admission
through the computer matching process. It would be in the
interest of prospective students who meet these academic
criteria to assign Marywood University as a top preference
in the computer matching process if you wish to obtain one
of these scholarships.
Substantive merit scholarships are available to talented
students who have less than a 3.35 cumulative undergraduate
grade point average who are admitted to the DI on a
competitive basis.
