Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology
The Marywood University Educational Specialist (Ed.S.)
Program in School Psychology is interdisciplinary in nature
and is intended for students who seek state certification as
a K-12 school psychologist.
Students follow an integrated and sequential course of
study beginning post baccalaureate, earn a Master of Arts
degree in psychology, complete the Educational Specialist
degree and then are recommended for state certification.
Students may enter the program post baccalaureate or post
master's degree. Prospective students applying to the Office
of Graduate Admissions at either entry point for the
Educational Specialist Degree should consult the Graduate
Admissions' web pages for admissions application deadlines.
Both prospective students and previously enrolled
students who wish to compete for merit scholarships should
complete the 2007-2008 Graduate Scholarship Application for
Master's Degree, Educational Specialist Degree, and Post
Baccalaureate Certification Students and the required essay
electronically by February 14, 2007. These electronic
